 Land Use: Colorado vs. Missouri

     In this article the authors talked about how land use in Colorado is defensible land that must be supported and protected by the appropriate authority. They discussed the legal work used in Colorado to protect the land. They also included information that regulates the hazards and also describes how local mitigation planning and state policies are programs are being formed by the state. In Colorado they are known as the "local control" state this means when it comes to planning the authority such as adoption of land it will be done locals instead of an outside source.
