Land use classification

 In todays blog I am going to be talking about the different classifications of land use. The first classification of land use is urban or built up land. This type of land use is important because it is one of the main types. Urban land use is classified as land that is used for altering the land for human activities or businesses. It’s important to know about this classification because this is the type of land use we have the most issues with. The second classification is residential. Residential land use is when the land or space is used to house single family homes or multi unit living spaces. This is a big category because there are 7 billion people on earth and most people live in a house. It’s important to know about how this classification effects us as we move on in our lives and start looking for a home. The third classification is commercial and services. This classification is when land is used for selling products or merchandise. This is important to know about because we all know our planet is turning into quite the greedy place. Everything is starting to be based off money and industries are taking up land space to put up businesses which later on will continue to hurt our planet as a whole.
